…so my wife laid down to go to bed tonight and all the sudden shot up and went to her den. I rushed in to see what was the matter to find her with a tarrot card book scanning the pages. She looked at me and asked how many cards are their in the major arcana? Dumbfounded that she had to find out right then, I told her I did not know. I do however know there are 52 in the minor one, I told her. Quickly she said no actually there are 56, I said well yes, if you count the 2 jokers and the 2 Hoyle cards with the score information on them, but no one ever plays with those cards anyway. Not too sure she got the joke. With a short amount of research it turns out there are 22 major arcana and 56 minor. That is a whole lot of cards to deal out.
